Community engagement will be a significant element within the integrated resource planning process. Platte River will engage with our owner communities on multiple levels to gain public input from as many residents and businesses possible.

Platte River’s Board of Directors approved the 2020 Integrated Resource Plan during the Oct. 29 board meeting. Notice of approval from Western Area Power Administration can be found here.

2020 focus group sessions

Platte River sponsored a series of focus group sessions with residents and business owners in each of its owner communities to discuss energy portfolio options. Colorado State University’s Center for Public Deliberation facilitated the focus groups for Platte River and will report their findings to Platte River’s leadership. Due to COVID-19, the Fort Collins focus group session was canceled and electronic input was gathered from customers.
