Are you interested in gaining real-world experience in the energy industry? Platte River Power Authority offers a wide variety of operational, technical and professional experiences. Interns will gain hands-on experience in their curriculum, directly collaborate with co-workers and face a unique set of real projects and challenges.
Platte River offers two internship options:
1. 40 hours per week for three months (typically over the summer months)
2. Less than 30 hours a week for nine months
Internship eligibility:
- Over 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university at the start of the internship preferred; may consider recent graduates
- Some internships prefer junior or senior status in school
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, Platte River Power Authority cannot provide employment to applicants who will require sponsorship now or in the future (i.e. H1B visa, OPT status)
